PUPPY HEALTH WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY
Short-Term Health Warranty: The puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to be in good health at the time of sale. Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the puppy to validate this warranty. If, within that period, the veterinarian determines the puppy is unfit for sale due to a life-threatening or serious condition, the buyer must notify Sapphire Farm within twenty-four (24) hours of diagnosis. With written confirmation from the veterinarian, the buyer may return the puppy for a full refund or replacement of equal value from the next available litter. Minor or temporary issues such as parasites, mild infections, or stress-related illness are excluded. The warranty is void if the puppy is exposed to other animals or environments before its initial exam, or if it is neglected or mistreated.
Long-Term Health Warranty: Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees provides a one-year warranty from the puppy’s date of birth against congenital or hereditary conditions that seriously impair the dog’s quality of life. Covered conditions include severe hip dysplasia (confirmed by OFA or PennHIP), congenital heart defects, and hereditary blindness. The buyer must provide veterinary certification and diagnostic results. Sapphire Farm may seek a confirming opinion. If verified, the breeder may offer a replacement puppy or partial refund. This warranty applies only to dogs kept in healthy condition, properly fed, and not overexercised or altered before 12 months of age.
Returns and Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable except as covered under the Short-Term Health Warranty. If the buyer cannot keep their dog, Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees must be contacted first. The breeder will assist in rehoming or may accept the dog at their discretion. Refunds for voluntary returns depend on the dog’s age, condition, and adoptability. No Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees dog may be surrendered to a shelter or rescue. Transportation, crate, and veterinary costs for a return are the buyer’s responsibility.
Limitation of Warranty: No other warranties, expressed or implied, are made by Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees. The puppy is sold as-is, except as stated herein. The breeder’s total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the puppy.

Registration & Health
All puppies are pre-registered through the AKC. Puppies are microchipped, vet-checked, and receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Each buyer will receive a health record and registration paperwork at the time of pickup. Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees guarantees the puppy to be in good health at the time of sale and free of contagious disease for 72 hours after purchase. A detailed health warranty and refund/return policy are provided separately.
Ownership & Breeder Rights
The breeder reserves the right to retain first choice of up to two puppies per litter. All puppies are sold as working Livestock Guardian Dogs. Buyers must provide adequate fencing, shelter and livestock environment. Sapphire Valley Great Pyrenees reserves first right of refusal if the buyer can no longer keep the dog for any reason.
Pricing & Deposit
The purchase price of each puppy is as follows: • Male Puppy: $1,550 • Female Puppy: $1,750
A 50% deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are non-refundable unless the breeder cancels the sale. The remaining balance is due prior to or upon pickup. Puppies will not leave the breeder’s property until full payment has cleared. Accepted forms of payment include bank transfer, cashier’s check or verified electronic payment.
